More possibly important review replies

these are replies to reviews posted on one of the 19 chapters (in ASAS) and the chapter of ASAS with Sora and Kairi where Kairi knights Sora (at least, I believe that's what chapters we're talking about based on my replies.)
I'm not sure if it's that particular chapter with Sora and Kairi but it is one of those chapters with them while they're kids

I should go back to writing... but uh... *doesn't feel like it*

So I'm going to rant!

I have many reasons I feel like ranting.

For starters, just read one of my favorite books again. "High Wizardry" the third in Diane Duane's "So You want to Be a Wizard" series (which is technically called "Young Wizards" series, but... it's so much easier to find them by the title of the first book). I'm not sure if it's the extreme amount of technology, or if it focuses on my favorite character Dairine, but it's my favorite book.

anyway, I stumbled upon a quote that I remember writing down forever ago, and could've used relatively recently:

"To a computer, there is no program that cannot be debugged or, at worst, rewritten."

This is 37's way of looking at the world, and I could've used this in the Meltdown Theories post to explain why he thinks what he does about Namine's meltdowns.

And, going back to the fact he thinks the term "mistake" is used to frequently.

Y'see, there was this little paragraph explaining his thoughts on that word, but it didn't make it in because it didn't flow into the next part of the chapter, and it put the word count a bit too far over (back when I cared about word counts), and it wasn't necessary.

But, basically, it was just that the thought "mistake" is a pointless term, and that many of the Replicas that are considered mistakes shouldn't be considered as such. To him, the Experiments (the kids) aren't mistakes because they were experiments. Yes, they have flaws, but most experiments do. Namine is not a mistake to him; to him, there is merely something off with her data, and that can be fixed.

He did, however, consider Xion a mistake. Why? Well, because Xion ended up just... failing... really badly... Roxas, don't give me that look you are dead! And that's what everyone else thought! Not saying I do! But to their standards, she just went terribly wrong.

anyway

onto point number 2

I'M ON SUMMER BREAK! FINAALLLY!! *throws leftover confetti from my birthday in the air*

My goal for this summer? Finish Dead Inside.

Or, at the very least, get to THAT. But I don't think it'll take too long to get to THAT, so I'm setting my goals for the end.

And more good news?

INSPIRATION FINALLY HIT! I only have a minute and... six (maybe seven, don't remember) seconds of the Meltdown Project left! *throws more confetti in the air*

I mean, I just have 30 seconds that I need to figure out how to fill somehow, and the last thirty seconds should be easy, because I finally mastered the art of editing to fast music.

WHOOHOO!!

anyway, I guess that was kind of it...

oh, well, might as well

yup. I forgot where I got the base... I should find it and credit them, even though less than ten people read this blog (or, roughly ten)

base by katsuye on deviantArt. Too lazy to put in a link. But they did the base.

Anyway, I got sick of not having a picture of Namine in pain, so I went and drew one myself. (That sentence sounds so cruel out of context... but you guys know I need it for the Meltdown Project)

UPDATE!!

heheh... forgot about the large amount of reviews sitting on ASAS that I needed to asnwer...

so...

Flightfoot, for starters, 19 wasn't given the binder. He was given a stack of papers that Edd never told him he couldn't look at. 19 then organized them and put them in the binder (if I was dedicated and could draw, I'd replicate the binder... but... that requires drawing an insane amount of pictures... and this was completely random information...)

Yes, Xianit, this is what 19's been hiding from 23 (along with everyone else) and probably why he wasn't... ah... hang on *checks something* Actually, no, 19 didn't know about Toby. He probably just didn't react as 23 thought he should've, and 23 took that to mean- well- yeah. That he knew.

...

Yes, KKBeckett, Larxene does happen to be alive in Magik's universe. My Riku happens to want to kill her... but I keep telling him no, because that's not his story (it would be an interesting way to swing things, though...)

Xianit, I can't remember if I replied to this or not, but I'll say it just in case. yes, IF Magik's Namine's theory is indeed the correct one about Namine's meltdowns, they would stop after every future memory has happened.

Flightfoot, I'm not entirely sure if that's the only reason Riku doesn't want to stick Namine in a pod, I think it was something else, but this was written so long ago that I can't remember.

KKBeckett, I wrote Sora's impatience that way on purpose. And, yes, it is nice Kairi's reasonable. It's just a pity she didn't realize how serious the situation was until it was too late... (sorry, she just ranted my ears off about that a few nights ago...)

oh, and, yes, that was dute. I mean cute =P lol, sorry if that was mean... It wasn't supposed to be...

Edd is confusing because, mainly, his concept of how everything is going on is very wide-ranged, and he understands a lot more than anyone else does. That, and he is dying, and I think he gave up on trying to make sure everyone else understood him, and was content so long as he understood himself. That made sense, right?

actually, there are specific reasons I can't post the other half of four... hence why 19 can't find it... heheh,... creative, aren't I? If anything, I got bored and wrote it down in Vexen's handwriting, and maybe I'll scan it and see if you guys can decipher it. Because it looks like a mess.

Yes, Edd did gather data from farther in the future and magik's Namine. He gathered some from Magik's Namine to sort of... patch up all the crud that he did to my Namine, and hopefully make her run a bit smoother

Well, he went into the future twice. The first time, he gathered data from roughly NOW in Dead Inside, if not a bit sooner. Then that caused the meltdowns, so he had to go even father to a certain point I can't mention because it's spoilers (didn't 19 say all this?)

Yeah, I know you know that. Just a while back, I was apprehensive about posting crud like that. I've gotten over it, now. I mean, we all know it's going to happen. You guys just don't know how they finally get to that point ;D

And yes, the 600 words was bothering me... *twitch* I hate inconsistent word counts.

That was Edd rethinking what he was doing. He made her destroy the pictures, realized that was incredibly cruel, and then fixed them for her.

Yes, Namine was running farther ahead than we are now. I'll let you know when we hit the point (technically, I have a scene with Edd written that would go there. Two, actually... but one might end up in ASAS)

That's a good question... In my head, the pictures have just sort of always been in order... but then I realize that they shouldn't reasonably be... maybe 19's just guessed and put them in a rough order based on what he gathered from them.

Sorry about it being so detailed... and confusing... and having a lot of crud. But as soon as I thought up this picture idea I just couldn't let it go. It made so much sense. Like how 19 knew and understood what Namine was feeling, especially towards Riku, at times. And since he was insistent on being that way in my head, I needed a way to explain it. Thus we get this.

Right. I'll post report 6 later.
